What a man Virgil is

As a Hungarian and Barcelona fan I only started following Liverpool closely since Szobo joined the team, beforehand I only watched the bigger Champions League matches. But since then I now understand through these videos and comments that this club is much more than just a business and I now also understand what they really mean when they say "You never walk alone". Great club with great people!

It's about giving back to the community, recognising that there are a lot of wonderful people out there doing simple but special deeds. Virgil is a great ambassador to this great club. I'm a Spurs fan and i've always loved the city of Liverpool wirh it's warm and generous people and Virgil epitomises those traits. The two fellers came over as real decent guys as well. If we don't win the title this season I hope liverpool do

Boss man John he was my English teacher 3 years ago for my GCSEs and thanks to him I have passed and seeing that he is back happy and moving again it makes me glad that he’s safe and sound

A huge amount of selflessness , we need more people like Alex

I’m just in bits watching this. The nurse was a hero, as are all nurses in my book, but the accessibility to a defibrillator was of course vital that day. Thanks to Nivea & LFC for raising awareness and providing more of these lifesaving pieces of equipment. These are the stories that show that this wonderful club does ‘mean more’. YNWA

Every NHS worker is a hero, especially after the pandemic and the hardships they had to endure, which included seeing their colleagues become their patients. Footballers are of course stars and entertain us, but people like Alex are the heroes that this country owes a huge debt of thanks to. They deserve much better treatment as well and much harsher punishment for anyone who gives them abuse.

Defibrillators are every sport facility and shopping area schools and even neighborhoods.

What a wonderful story. Credit to the nurse who acted. You could see the connection he and the person had. Well done to our captain showing true feelings. I'm sure it was a memory filled moment for the 2 lads. YNWA! I'm still blubbing !

Agree. I really love these videos by Nivea and it never seems like a marketing ploy but actual good values and beliefs. Wish more companies did the same.

This is my club. It's special. It's more than a football club. It's a family although many of us don't know each other, we have that bond that Alex and John's got. It's what it's all about. And what Nivea Men does is admirable!

How can you not love and appreciate LFC? They’ve been doing this kind of thing as part of their club culture since the time of Shankly. It’s beautiful to see it continuing in this way, and properly genuine too. Props to VVD, but more so to Alex for what he did, and to John for his sincere gratitude. A great story

What a true friend and hero.. and definitely deserves the praise. Tugged at the heartstrings this did, and as a person who's undergone major heart surgery, I hope everyone realises how important it is to know C.P.R.
