This was a statement win for Liverpool, and one of Trent's career-best performances with two assists and a goal. Took us 16 points clear at the top of the table. Once we beat Man Utd at Anfield a couple of weeks later, the title was pretty much nailed on from that point forward.

We will never see a better performance from Liverpool like that game and thanks Arnold for that week fpl points 😂

Disagree! Although it was a superb game, the CL semi final win against Barcelona was phenomenal. I’m still buzzing from that win. Klop, everybody thought we didn’t have a chance because we were well beaten in the away leg. Messi and Suarez gave us hell. But at Anfield, the scintillating noise of the crowd and the belief of the team… Wow! I think that’s when Klop realised that the club and supporters were truly special. He looked shellshocked and the best part, so did Barcelona. That was truly very special day in our History.
