I can remember Emlyn saying that lifting the FA Cup was his best moment in a Liverpool shirt, even better than the European Cup.

It's kinda weird seeing Keegan destroying Newcastle for some reason. 😂

This was so nostalgic and amazing to watch..the passion to play and succeed and the delight after winning. Seeing the management's passion was awesome. More like these memories from yesteryear please. A delight to watch the skill, passion and energy of our past heroic players. Jürgen arriving at Anfield is turning back the clock. The Difficulty level back then was Legendary, it was really difficult to win the FA cup and League Title back then, not to Forget the European Cup , what Liverpool achieved at that time was simply Amazing and Spectacular.

We got to watch one live game a year those days in Singapore, the FA Cup final. Love it.

Almost the same here in UK! As a boy, all I saw live was the FA Cup final and the European Cup Final, which was usually the same week! Of course there was the World Cup every four years.

That was a great day out at Wembley remember it well, greatest day out for me winning the Cup in 65.

I remember watching this as a kid in the 90s on tape, little did I know I was falling in love .

I remember watching it live on TV at a neighbours' house (they had colour TV!) with my brother. For me it was nerve wracking because I could not forget the feelings I had 3 years earlier when Liverpool had taken the lead against Arsenal only to lose 2-1. I didn't start to relax until the third goal went in. Live football was a rarity in those days - you could really sense the atmosphere of an FA Cup Final and the sense of occasion. I loved the way Emlyn Hughes lifted that trophy - that huge smile.
