Every touch after Virgil’s pinpoint pass was perfection. Mo’ first touch was incredible, using the kinetic energy of the pass to get the ball out in front, and then his second and third touches were deliberate and composed. Many other players may have got any of those touches wrong either through poor technique or panic. He didn’t as he’s built differently. That’s why he’s the best. And Divock. What a guy! Always believes! Absolute star and never seems to doubt himself in the moment. Thanks Redmen. You keep giving me joy in life. I can’t play anymore due to age so watching you is the next best thing.

Only top quality players find the pass in that situation. How many times have we seen wingers get in to that position and their cross and pass gets blocked or they mess up the touch and have to slow down allowing defence to gain control or they panic and cross early only to find no one in the box. As you said Mo is built different. He is the best player in the world and kept going for the full 90 mins. The best players get a goal and assist in big situations in final minutes. Mo is the best player in the world and I don't care how many tap ins you score in a farmers league Mo is the best playing int he hardest league not just scoring tap ins and stat padding

Agreed. For me, it is the whole goal. Virgil's pass -- perfect. Salah's first touch, second touch, pass -- all perfect. Origi's ball touch and spin for the shot -- beyond perfect. Notice how the goalie shifts in anticipation of a 180 degree spin, but Divock spins 200 degrees. 7 perfect offensive touches in a row. And, I would argue, zero defensive errors. It is just unstoppable. And, as you said, when Salah has been running his heart out all game.

I am amazed that Salah touch, and he still can find narrow space passing between defender legs, but of course that killing shot by Origì o my.. my, powerrrr...

That’s a Messi level touch by Salah, Incredible!! And Origi with that clutch late winner . You got to love him

The three touches by Mo Salah were sublime, matched only by the two touches from Divock Origi and the long pass from Virgil van Dijk. Have to say that the quality of football by the players at the top clubs has been the best ever this season, with Man City, Chelsea and Liverpool just perfect.
