That first touch from that height with the twist with a big sign saying "see ya" is just unreal it defies alot of things and to do in such sublime smooth touches with a full twist of the body then arrowing on straight is just freaky.. Its worth a Ballon D'or on its own 👑

The pass was superb. That first touch was sublime. To pull a ball down from that height and manipulate it to spin a player on the turn is just so difficult. You could have someone kick that to you with no defender on you a hundred times and you’d be lucky to do it. He does it regularly.

@@dice5460 in that situation if Cancelo fouls Mo he’s off, as you saw once beaten he’s through on goal, that’s a straight red so Canvelo NOT fouling him did the right thing, 11 men still on the pitch give you a better chance of getting back in the game. IMO his mistake was trying to win the ball full stop, stand off him and hold him up while your team gets back, but by trying to nick it he exposed his side

I love these videos because you learn so much from them. Salah is the one man wall for the free kick, and has 4 City players between him and the goal at that point: Cancelo deep, but also De Bruyne taking the free kick, and two others level with De Bruyne. When Salah sees the ball is heading into Alisson's hands, he immediately sets off, sprinting past the row of 3 City players. At the same time Pep is frantically pointing to these three players that they need to track Salah and help out Cancelo as he is aware that Alisson is capable of seeing the pass to Salah, and delivering it. Then Cancelo misses the tackle and Pep sinks to his knees knowing what is coming. Great stuff.

Underrated comment. Nice catch. When I played as a centre-back (amateur football), whenever our team scored I immediately turned to face our keeper with my arms raised. As a central defender, I felt a kinship with the keeper. He was also the team captain and leader. He didn't make passes like Alisson though. 🙂
