When Liverpool won Premier League, Taki was not smiling. In the interview, he said he couldn’t contribute to the club, so he didn’t think of himself to deserve to carry the trophy. And now, he has proven himself and took us to the final. It’s time to Taki to carry the trophy😭

Players that don't play still contribute big time to the club. Playing the games are just half of the work. The training, squad depth, pressure towards others for preforming, teamspirit and encouragement are the rest. Sulking and complaining would be the opposite. I love the enthusiasm Minamino brought to the club when he arrived and we won the league. I see him as an important squad player, but I can get that he want to be the big star he deserves.

I work in a Japanese co-owned company so I can totally relate his mindset, really hope we can bring home Carabao Cup & let Minamino enjoy it properly. There's rumors he might be let go as well this summer 😢

Chelsea are the Champions of Europe…they’re gonna take some beating, which needs all 11 on the pitch, at it, with 3-5 coming on if needed. Hopefully they’re only needed to rest players and give others the opportunity of playing in a memorable final win. We need a trophy. I’ll take a 3-0 snooze fest with 3 in first 30 mins.

My boy minamino I've been very critical of him but after watching this I truly rate him. Surely you can't compete with the likes of Salah, mane and co but when the job needs doing he's their especially in the cup. I hope he gets some minutes in the final IF Liverpool are well ahead

Taki is good player. His wide crosses are not his best but when it comes to pressing, low crosses, and positioning, he is solid IMHO. Watch the runs he makes into the box then watch the other forwards not pass to him, but pass it back instead. Damn frustrating to watch.

Minamino will always be loved by us, surely he wasnt able to break into first team due to salah and mane regaining form, but minamino is a top professional who has worked really hard even if he doesnt get first team football. Japanese people have a crazy work ethic and minamino's contributions will not be disparaged , whatever happens in the final

I just love watching him strip the ball off the opposing players feet and send in a cool pass forward to reignite the attack.

Minamino would probably be a main forward in any club outside of the top 4. Liverpool have a really good forwards right now. I hope he succeeds in Liverpool but he should also think about his future. He and Origi should feature in all EPL and FA cups games to boost their confidence.

We need everyone to win everything! This team is capable to do it.. Taki was exceptional in the cup! Lets finish it Reds and win our first title this season!! YNWA

Taki is definitely a special player, had he been playing at Barca or Ajax, I think he would’ve been a goal machine. Maybe our style of play isnt his best suited one. But super happy to have him in our team!

This is why I still love the domestic cups. In the league and CL there’s a very small amount of players who contribute massively over the season, they help in the training pitch and with the mood of the club, but there’s rarely anything tangible they can point to and say “I played a big part in putting that trophy on the wall of champions.” We win this on Sunday Taki, Kelleher, Morton, Tsmikas, Bradley and others will be able to say that for the first time.

Klopp barely plays him, but compared to the number of appearances this season Taki has done superbly.
