It's really a lot of sub-Gerrard stuff but with more dribbling. Szoboszlai is easily on target to become the best Liverpool midfielder since Alonso/Gerrard just because his talent and ceiling are so high

But fresh Diaz and Nunez coming on in the hour mark is too unfair. Unleashing them on tired defenders is a tactic that cannot be counted out. So its a choice that Klopp will have to make, and frankly, he cannot be wrong whether he had started the two or not.

In this game I belive it was due to the fatigue of traveling. But for me it's tactical of who we use at top. Gackpo are a young version of Firmino while Nunez is a young version of Torres. Both good for different reasons. Depending what the team need. I personally think the team play better with a false nine player, but Nunez have been in fine shape this season. He need to work on his first touches and he can be one of the best.

@@archishmanroy2017 Still no clue why Klopp's got it in his head that Gakpo should play center striker. The guy's so good as a left winger and is okay as a striker. Was doubly confused when in their Gakpo's first months there, he had to play striker while Nunez was played as left winger. Felt like someone hadn't been paying attention while making their line-up in FM.

It’s a club with worldwide fanbase. I’m from Singapore and this year July when Liverpool came over, fans lined up to catch a glimpse of the players and Klopp at the airport, along the streets, and outside the hotel, in hordes… heck, even sang the songs in the stadium throughout… pretty sure it’s the same or better in many other countries.

I love Mo Salah for not being selfish, it really helped their victory a lot.

Another great comeback. But to echo other comments here, the slow starts are a concern. As klopp said the other day, he considers this year 1 of the rebuild. Given the amount of change this summer to the squad, the different profile of midfield players to their predecessors, and klopp playing a different system to previous years, it'll be a major accomplishment to be anywhere near city come May. Can't see a title challenge this year, but I'm hopeful that's coming soon. Think defence needs a revamp next. Too many players in that backline are inconsistent

this match proved how much mo salah important for liverpool. he scores, he creates, he passes. what a player. this season he evolves even more. now a complete team player rather than a selfish scorer.

My new nickname for Liverpool is 'second half team', which means they only start playing in the second half of the match. In the first half, they mostly start really slowly, and players seem sluggish while making multiple mistakes on repeat. After half time, because of whatever Klopp says in the dressing room, they completely transform.

Diaz is amazing but he always thinking about scoring himself and dribbling all rivals and scoring no-look goals, oftentimes running senseless. RW Salah consistently assisting and scoring whilst Diaz as LW has I bet less than 10 assists in his LFC history.

I was at this match actually and as poor as the first half was the changes from klopp made all the difference imo and that front five we currently have at our disposal is ridiculous frankly coady gakpo didn't offer much in the game in general until he scored but nunez and diaz off the bench must be a nightmare for opposition managers really YNWA 😁

The midfield was not firing at all for the first 40, and we could not progress the ball up the middle of the pitch. Gakpo dropping to help link up does not help when Mac could not even find Szobo or Jones with the ball.
