When he shows up. He needs to step up again. Miller is bit part player. Not Salah Imagine getting paid 350k a week and claiming to be the best player in his position and only score 7 goals since last season December.

Jota makes a HUGE impact in the front, i know some people miss Mane but the man is key for Salah and Diaz, nice performance, the lads were sweating for it. big wing, keep it up! ✊💪

Jota is the man! Been waiting for him to get back to full fitness, hopefully he can build on this. When he hits the ground running, there's no stopping him for sure. We really need goals and some fierce attacking!!

Better make him an amf and nunez at the front... Better execution and good control from the attacking side.. mostly the team use crosses like a LOT in these games which is predictable from the opponent's side.. we need to make we can attack from the middle too.

Great to have Matip back (especially with this result). Tsimikas proved his worth on Robbo's absence. Trent really stepped up his game defensively in the second half. Thiago was stellar. Team's shaping up again!

Kudos to Ajax goalkeeper! He really save a lot with his sixth sense :)

Salah gradually getting his form

Loved seeing Jota back bossing it up front. That deft first touch to take it away from the defender then the layoff to Salah was a thing of beauty. 🔥

Brilliant performance by the lads that night, we fought for that win and each player deserves credit. However, that right hand side of trent and elliot needs to be improved.

I think the issue comes with Elliot. Regardless of how great he's been performing, Trent doesn't link up with him as well as Henderson - probably because Elliot is left-footed which forces Salah to drop wide to get the ball from him. Elliot also fails to cover for trent like Hendo did which causes defensive issues. Although Jota's return was very key for the team and I'm excited to see him play more as I believe we play better with a false 9 that can drop and allow Salah and Diaz to run in behind. Happy for the win too YNWA!

@@phillip8523 I agree, someone always makes a mistake before Trent's position is exploited, he can't take all the corners, take shots, give crosses AND stay and track back, it's core Liverpool principle to play according to the zone you are in(as the player) and the others to adapt for that. The midfield is failing him as much as he is protesting by refusing to do more than he should be.

Even with Henderson on field sometimes the right side gets exploited because the midfielders are less effective than eager to go forward, unlike Trent who IS effective.

@@phillip8523 I totally agree but I think hendo has gotten too old and we may not see him perform as well he used to. That’s why we need to sign a new midfielder in my opinion. Carvalho and elliot are brilliant but they don’t recover that well defensively, we should play them more up front or as attacking midfielders. Klopp will either have to switch up his formation or sign a proper cm, or you never know, arthur could be promising and might fill that role

@@phillip8523 yeah man, a left footed mid (play at right) always an issue for us, even though Harvey was good that match a fit box to box will perfect at that position we hope the Bellingham project is the answer Elliott will be a better at Salah position in the future

I feel like people are being too harsh with VVD. Sure he isn't on the same level as before his injury but still he's been quite solid. His long passes, his anticipation, his aerial game, etc are still spot on. Sure he looks slower but it happens to everyone when you get old and can't blame him either after the injury he went through. He just made us think like he was superhuman and now we are just realizing that he's human.

Nobody wants Klopp out. It's either said in a frustration rant or by other teams fans. I want him in Liverpool untill he decide himself to quit.

We could see our old beautiful team and their style, attacks were swift and dangerous, Jota good interacted with MO and Diaz, Thiago made so important job for our attack, it was a big problem for us is a shortage of providing balls to our attack players. Another problem was in the defense, Matip thank god came back and has shown how need to play! Everything going well! YNWA

Matip makes a massive difference to Liverpool alòng with Thiago. Great win lads. That was a Monster header by Matip.

That was the fight and intensity I was hoping for in our past matches and we truly deserved this win!Let's hope that we can maintain this form after the international break

Just need to be a bit more clinical because this game should have ended at the very least 3-1. Also need to work on our set pieces because we get so many corner and haven't been able to score from them a lot. Last season we were really good on set pieces. Also think there might be some truth to Elliott maybe not working well with TAA and Salah.
