Well, you didn't watch the game, cuz Liverpool didn't play well. Our midfield was bypassed too easily and defence cut open like a knife on butter. We really missed the presence of van Dijk & Fabinho.

In the whole game only good for Liverpool was that jota goal, because the second goal shouldn’t be at all be counted because salah touched the ball with his hand and spurs were stupid to not finish those chances

My god the chances Spurs missed is just incredible.

No doubt Robbo should have been given a red card but Kane should have been given one as well. Pogba was given a red card for a similar situation on Keita and yesterday Xhaka wasn’t even given a warning. I don’t understand the inconsistency in the decisions. How can you not use VAR and look at the situation. And the stupidest thing I heard was that the ref said Jota stopped looking for a pen. Tell me when and where a striker doesn’t stop to shot. Also when VVD and Fab is out we cant play in such a high line.

As a neutral that was a bloody fantastic game

Feels like we got away lucky (not being down 4 goals by halftime), until we took the lead. We should’ve held onto it more carefully. Tsimikas had a chance to cross it in early to Salah following the Ali clearance, but it wasn’t to be. Given the circumstances I can live with NOT losing, but can’t live with horrible refereeing decisions. YNWA

I agree, Harry Kane should have definitely been sent off for that horrendous challenge on Robertson, but the ref just turned a blind eye, if that had been a Liverpool player he wouldn't have hesitated to show a red card, pathetic excuse for a referee.

Allison my man of the match made a mistake but his performance was world class Robbo was brilliant aside from the tackle Kane got away with that one. Salah didn’t get much on the ball but always will be King. We will be back to our winning ways glad to get a point despite having midfield crisis and having one man down.

Tot have gotten so much better,,, but they just need to be able to take more chances,,, you can't lose this many chances against a team of such calibre

Referee was very poor today. Crazy how Robbo had to probably break an ankle just for a proper decision from the refs on kane’s tackle….

I feel you've summed up Klopp's point very succinctly & well. At 1st I was arguing Kane barely touched Robertson but now I agree that's not relevant. However, look on Sky how CLOSE Kane got to the ball. He got VERY close. He maybe even touched it. So he must've felt he had a reasonable chance of getting to it. Thus any contact was probably completely accidental (he's desperately trying to get possession on the half-way line so Spurs could race forward again on the counter attack). But was dangerous so IMO it's a yellow

Well.. if you look closely he rarely gets the ball because no one passes it to him. His positioning throughout the game is adequate.

Inter fan here..hope my coach watched the full game ...I 👀see you Liverstrings...nice work Conte, I've seen my coach use that formation at Lazio already, with success in europe. So all bodes well right now for us. Forza Inter!!

In short about the game: 1. Tottenham could have scored 3 or 4 more goals for sure. They failed in several almost 100% goal-scoring chances. 2. Kane should have got red card for that tackle. This was clear as the sky after hurricane (sorry for pun :) ). It is ref`s and VAR`s fail. 3. Penalty on Jota`s fall is not 100% one. At the same time, I think, majority of refs would have given penalty shoot for this. I would say, it was more penalty than not. 4. Mo`s handball in Robertson`s goal situation. I think it is a correct goal. It was not any intention to play with hand. Ball found the hand, rather than contrariwise.

If this is representative for the quality of the referees and VAR in the Premier League we'll get a very tough second half of the season.

Kane should have seen red for the foul on Robertson. And, Royal would have a 2nd yellow for the blatant foul on Jota in the penalty area. No complaints on Robertson's red. Tierney and VAR were very inconsistent in this match but the game was exhilarating to say the least
