No he' doesn't, common guys if you want liverpool to compete at the highest level , Curtis isn't the player to take you there, he is a fringe player liverpool need to get top talent ASAP. Just look at Chelsea with that huge squad, Curtis can't even qualify to be on the starting 11 and bench

Nope we still haven't replaced Gini in the midfield, a box to box midfielder, knows how to press and a constant threat when he is in the 18 area. We are so poor at defending set pieces because we now have a lot of short players.

People have talked of VVD for a long time, as they should because he is superb. However, Joel Matip's comeback was crucial for this team. What a player!

always a problem every match.. first goal he didnt block well. 2nd goal (offside) he failed again.

Cody Gakpo is absolute class. He presses, he's silky in between the lines, fast, strong. Brilliant player.

Gakpo's dipping shot was insane

A lovely long range effort from Gakpo. Whoever Liverpool recruit in the summer, I would love it if they have long range shooting in their bag of of tricks ala Gerrard, Berger, Riise, Agger, Alonso etc. As good as Klopp's Red sides have been, they have never really had anyone who can catch teams out and score a goal out of nothing with a long range effort. It can create chances especially when the usual route to goal is not proving successful.

@mrjikes,LP do have such long range place who have scrored from long distances such as Henderson and even Firbinio but sadly now lately they rather decided to make long range backpasses or side passes instead of taking their chances when within open range and thats one of the reasons they face all those negative comments in that mid.

I know Fab has scored worldies in the past, and even Elliot earlier this year, but my point is it's not their forte, so midfield additions with more dynamic skills to break down defences are needed. And while Pool are at it in their search, a dead ball specialist to compete with TAA wouldn't go amiss.

What a win, i was so nervous for real from this match more than any other match left this season Gakpo goal was legendary Matip did so great i can see his improvement, trent was amazing as the three matches before, i really like him in invented rb position🔥 Also van dijk blocking the ball gives me old van dijk vibes 🔥 i really hope this is the start of his comeback (let's support him more, the media attacking him so harsh lately)
