I know it probably may not be important to some/most of staff/players & that there are more important issue’s/matters at hand to be concerned with, It’s just it was always done by all of/most of the players (That new of the tradition) as a symbol of luck before the game at hand. Maybe not important to most of/ a lot of fans…….But just thought i’d throw that out there (I even lifted my little boy to touch the sign when we were on a tour of Anfield - He thought it was great!😂) & obviously I touched it myself LOL! It made 2 great pictures👌.

NUNEZ NUNEZ, if anyone is wondering why Nunez lifted his leg to meet the ball but changed to heading it, please watch from 7:51 at a playback speed of 0.25. You will see that Martinez had a touch on the ball which changed the trajectory of the ball, making Nunez switch to heading, though it was not easy. It may look funny, but it was the right decision.

I remember him scoring that freekick against Hoffenheim in that UCL playoffs and now he gets to lead the team... wow. I remember that moment like it was just yesterday. I think his story is an inspiration to almost all the young people growing up. Continue to do what you do and don't forget to improve by calmly waiting for your moment.

Look at salah pass 7:50 out of his left foot. Crazy accuracy, he can score, assist, create chances, still have a 25-27 years old stamina and pace. He can stay until 35 and still perform at top level.

Szoboszlai and Mac Allister plus anybody like Jones, Endo or Elliott give difference in mid-field compared to last season. They give quick transformation of defending to attacking in a match and steady ball-holding. Moreover, this midfield also upgrade our defenders like Gomez and Matip. They are the gears between defender and attacker. I expect the new comer, Gravenberch, will give some elements to strengthen midfield

I knew Martinez got a hand to it but the better narrative is that Darwin missed a sitter. The ball clearly goes higher and nearer to where he expects. Did well to adjust but couldn't direct it. Looks bad but there's a clear reason.

English media is crazy saying he fluffed it. But what more can you expect from those gremlins.

I'm so impressed by Szoboszlai...So much so, that now I'm not concerned if he'll be able to perform well enough to be one of the best, I'm just concerned with his health- because that to me after a month into his time at Anfield is the only thing that's going to hold him back from reaching his Elite potential.

I honestly think that gravenberch is very similar to gini. And imo we have missed his energy in midfield until this season started.

Am a football player, not a professional level but still the feeling is the same. I can understand what Ryan felt when he was sitting, you get impressed at how fast and strong everyone is while you are sitting and you don’t know how faster, quicker and more technical you are when playing. You think everyone is playing better than you until you play and everyone says “you were the best today”, that doesn’t mean everyone is not but you only feel the intensity of the game when you are sitting.
