So good that the womens team have this facility and are keeping the Melwood legacy alive!

The Boot Room Six would have been really happy seeing this as the Boot Room legacy they built continues. A history making day indeed as Melwood, the heartbeat of Liverpool Football Club is beating once again. So much history and so many memories in one iconic building. Glad they kept the iconic boot shelves at the entrance to the pitch. Awesome memories for Gemma Bonner as she famously went toe to toe with Saurez. Missy Bo and Niamh are also joining her in living out their childhood dream. Nice memories for Matt Beard also as he won both league titles when the women were last there. Now he becomes the fourteenth manager to occupy the famous office. Would love to see a video where legends like Roy Evans, Phil Thomson, Kenny, Stevie Highway and Barnsey all come to visit the women’s first team / academy. Share old stories and memories with them, even coach a training session. Something with Karen Gill (Shanks’s granddaughter) would be really awesome too. YNWA

It is wonderful to see Melwood being a training ground again. The aura of the place is almost magical, and just being there will help the women's team reach new heights. It was also great to see the cameraderie amongst the players. 👍🏻

I actually got small tears in my eyes watching this video. A very nice thing from the club to let the women use it! I hope you get an wonderful year! YNWA

great to see Melwood back in Reds ownership again. So much history there, and a sign that as a club we're ready to take the Women's league seriously.

Stengel not at the level we need. Her inside the penalty area decision making was dreadful last season.

that gym wil have such a positive impact I don't expect other teams to have better fitness this season than Liverpool
