Don’t think you can really progress from the bench. Tbh if you saw into the future and told me curtis was starting week in week out I would assume our other midfielders were injured.

^^^then your aren’t too bright bro. He’s one of the best young English talents along with mount/sake/grealish etc. he started the last 10 games last season and was out best performing mf and was a large reason we won 10 straight with his technical play and running. He is absolutely fantastic

I KNOW I can't play football...that's why I watch Liverpool. Ha! As a kid my heroes were Kenny Dalglish and Alan Hansen. I learned early on I would not be replacing either of them at Anfield. Looking forward to a new invigorated Liverpool this coming season. In Klopp we trust. YNWA.

Is it just me or are the boys super serious and intense these pre-season trainings back??? Last season really did a number on them. 😅 I'm glad they found that fire and confidence towards the end of the season though.

Its different without Bobby's tricky quick feet, back heel passes and no look strike.... Really miss Bobby....

Look, they were great. We won a title a champs league. But we missed out on another prem and 2 champions leagues with these players of Mane Henderson etc. We've never been good in a final either with these players. Embrace the new team and new dawn. They could be even better.

Whole heartedly agree on these points! Would like to see a defensive midfielder come in, and personally a right back! Trent will play the pivot role this year which is great, but unless Gomez is ready to show he can be a top quality DEFENSIVE right back then we have to get someone in there! YNWA

@@Jackass619100we will play like we did the last couple of weeks at the end of the season which was great. With Trent in the ‘John Stones’ role so in possession we play with a double pivot. In possession we will play like a 3-2-2-3. So we really need an extra defensive mid to play next to Trent. Also we need an extra central defender to give VVD some competition.

That was fierce....the competition and hunger is simply cutthroat and i bloody love it!!!!! Gakpo and Jota looked like killing machines. The array of talent comes to light during these types of training sessions ridiculous....sometimes you need to lose a few familiar faces to rejuvenate a group and these guys look like they mean sheer business.

The Nuñez & Jones bromance still a thing. Adorable.

I used to be quite good myself but, unfortunately only played at county level. Watching the training brings back memories... trying to be cool and look like it's easy and not too much trouble. If I knew what I know now I'd forget about trying to look cool and work hard, train hard and stay after hours. My time has flown by as will these players but, the difference is the money 🤷‍♂️... wasn't the same in the 80s. I played because the game was everything for me, not money like a lot of todays players
