@@Excuvation04 Yeah it is a legitimate concern and I completely agree the penalty should have been retaken but it just seems a bit bitter about a decision that ultimately didn't affect the game and also the penalty was poor anyway.

@@Excuvation04 Because you Liverpool fans are use to having the pitch-perfect referees and despite Klopp complaining that VAR is useless and the referees need to be held to account. You should watch some League One games and look at the standard of refereeing there with no VAR or goal line technology and so one mistake by the linesman and you aim for his head. If Klopp made a mistake in tactics by playing one player in the wrong order for penalties would you be calling for Klopp to be sacked for doing a bad job don't be ridiculous but your complaining about one isolated moment in the game which had no effect on the outcome that's why it's bitter because I thought that the referees had a quite decent game apart from this one moment. Examine the referees performance over 90 minutes and if they consistently get it wrong like they do sometimes then complain but winging about one moment that was ultimately an irrelevance to the result sounds pathetic.

@@TheSm1thers He could well be in the future but he didn't have much to do tonight and our penalties were weak that he saved (goodness knows why we made our centre back who has only ever scored 7x in his 10 years at the club take a penalty which your keeper saved is beyond me). But I appreciate the compliment and good luck for the rest of the season.

​@@ramsfanyt8227 True but he's done well in the cups b4, against the likes of Chelsea as well. The stats show he's quality and the stats don't lie. Just gonna be hard for him to overtake Alisson as main keeper cos he's a proper world class keeper. We're not where we should be atm but hopefully the world cup acts as a reset plus we get some key players back from injury after so there's that too. Liverpool deserved this win. The young players were tremendous! They never stopped trying for the win. Derby only wanted to play for penalties and their tactics failed! I was not impressed with Derby.

Disagree with that we respected the fact that we were against a much better side than us and so if we pushed our players forward too much we would be pumped 7-0 like Rangers. So we played to our strength of defence and hoped to score from a counter but those opportunities are always limited against such a good opposition like yourselves. Therefore, it looked like we set up to draw but in reality we felt defence was the best offence in this situation.

@@ramsfanyt8227 Derby was playing Liverpool's young players. For most of the game. There were no counter-attacks from Derby. Derby's goalkeeper wasted a lot of time. Derby was not playing Liverpool's first team. This was a cup game and Derby played like they were fighting for a point! Negative and backfired.

@@Excuvation04 And your in the Premier League 9 out of your starting 11 have played in a Premier League fixture (albeit two have only made 1 appearance) and therefore I would expect a squad made out of mainly Premier League players some very experienced as well: Gomez, Oxlade-Chamberlain then off the bench Firminho and Nunez to dominate possession. If you want to run the argument that most of them progressed through the academy the same can be applied to Derby with 3 of the starting 11 and 3 of the subs all coming through Derby's academy which is the exact same amount as whom came through Liverpool's academy in this match therefore the argument is a non-starter. Ultimately we played defence which you struggled to beat with a lot of Premier League professionals even after you brought on Nunez and Firminho (a combined almost £100 million in being brought whereas Derby's squad cost us £175,000 ) you still couldn't beat our defence.

Can I join the Liverpool team as a trainee for two years and then join the team as a player
