i will never forget Pirlo or Gerrard, they made football what it is today

that Gerrard winner literally made me tear up! I wasn't really able to watch him in his prime but I always idolized him. being able to see that and sing along with the song at home was so special.

Gerrard should have been offered to stay,at least for two seasons,I was emotional seeing him in the latest kit,makes me wish and dream but probably for the best I suppose as every other player couldn't express themselves while in his team as he is the man to look to,the players need to be who they are and that can't happen with Gerrard on the team,best midfielder of all time but we needed him to leave to allow the other players to express themselves instead of always looking for Gerrard to change the game,was good to see Gerrard in the new kit,long live liverpool

Mate Brendan Rodgers is forever a bellend for forcing Stevie out of lfc. He stopped playing him. He could’ve played on, even when they won the ucl in 2019 he could have come off the bench.

Gerrard’s documentary on Netflix called “make us dream” is fabulous for any football fan. It made me really respect and appreciate him much more.

Every time I see gerrard, I automatically think of the 2005 champions league final and remember how gerrard showed (yet again) why he was the captain, the way he turn that game around was spectacular. The greatest football match I have ever seen! What a legend.

What an amazing game this was and a great experience to see so many legends play in the same game and for my sons first ever visit to Anfield it was special for him especially to see Gerrard score at the end and win the game. Something I hope he never forgets

Stevie G is the best English midfielder ever. He is a complete footballer. In his prime, he could play any positions on the pitch other than keeper. He could attack as well as defend along with his leadership skills. What a legend. He should have been retired as a Red and won the League title with Liverpool in 2020.

When they were playing surely, but not anymore. The difference between a currently playing professional footballer and someone who retired (and stopped training) just a year ago is massive. The touch and finish still lingers on for many of the legends but Henderson would prove to be much fitter, stronger and faster for anyone on this pitch.

For the sweet throwback, these legend match should've had been with the liverpool's vintage Adidas 2006/07 kits or could just chose theirs from 1994/95 one. Same goes for Milan. Wore them with the present kits are just... feels weirdly wrong tbh. Kinda missed the charm 😌
