Yes he is a great coach. However, I believe one of his greatest achievements is forgotten these days. Before coaching Dortmund he was coaching Mainz. Before him, Mainz was never in the first division Bundesliga, but Klopp established them as a team that belongs to the Bundesliga

I adore this man. There isn't another manager in the world I'd care to see at the helm right now, he's the perfect fit for this club.

That's the difference between him and other top managers. Perhaps some have better win rates or honors compared to Klopp, but unlike other managers, he isn't there for the glory, or use clubs as steeping stones in his career- he genuinely care for his team and his players.

His spirit is so great, his connection to the fans etc. so good that Dortmund didn't even think a second about firing him, when they were on the 18th and last place of the league after 18 matches. Instead he sadened ANYONE, when he announced his completely surprising resignation, while climbing from the 18th to the 7th place during the rest of the season, qualifying for the Europa League on the last match day. Anyone would have wanted him to stay for so many more years, but following one more bitter loss he didn't let himself be convinced, as he thought that a big change would be necessary for the club.

When Goetze transferred from Dortmund to Munich in 2013, he said that the reason why he is signing at Munich, is because he 'doesnt want to miss the opportunity to work with a manager like guardiola'. I like Guardiola, I think he is a great coach - but lets be honest. WHO needs Pep, if you have Klopp?

+Paul Brown We can't discriminate because his choice of team to support, if even man u fans can like klopp, its a good thing. Frankly if all this animosity off the football field was put aside we wouldn't hear all the disgusting chants about Hillsborough and Munich. Even as a Liverpool fan watch Sir Bobby Charlton talk about Munich, we would never sing about it again. Ditto United fans should watch the Hillsborough documentary and they would probably stop. This level of rivalry is poison where we allow our allegiance make us forget that people lost their lives in these disasters, football is never more important than tragedies such as these. Rivalry on the field is fine but its gone too far.

I'd like to see him back in Dortmund for the future. However, staying realistically, you may keep him forever as long as that means that he will hopefully never go to Munich! :D (something that all German experts, including Ottmar Hitzfeld, believe and regularly predict)

I was so sad when Jürgen left Borussia Dortmund. But I was happy when he went to liverpool. Dortmund and Liverpool are very similar. Take care of him and be proud of such a great coach. One of my favorite memories was last season. Can't remember who they played, but the boys weren't doing very well and the crowd began to voice their frustration.
