most of his goals are after the injury though. I think he has that play-making ability and scoring goals but we all know Klopp. Pressing is what Ox wasn't that good at.

@@thesmrsnn oxlade before and post injury had a good shot, but pre injury he was a different beast in midfield, just never looked the same after even though he did score some important goals in the 19/20 season.

@@thesmrsnn I realise that but in those early days, in big games, even against City he just wanted to run at defenders and shoot, and he was bloody good at it. He brought a dimension that we've barely had since, and he looked right at home in a very good team.

After that injury in the champions league, he just wasnt the same. Had the potential to have achieved so much more if it wasnt for those injuries. Noone will forget that goal against City. Thanks Ox for giving your all. YNWA

Early 19/20 was actually his second best run for the club. Scoring 8 goals in total in that season. But declined again after the pandemic. 😢

SUCH A GIFTED ATHLETE, he was so good at Cricket too.

him, Lalana and Agger are few of those players that make you wonder what they could have become if not because of injury

Deffo sturridge asweell x going back a few years but redlknapp,Owen fowler,Rob Jones all had very bad injuries that really hampered them . Long list of players unfortunately

To be honest we did see all of them at least a lil bit here and there. Even Cisse. One that injury robbed them a chance are Gonzalez and Aquilani. Especially more Aquilani. I still remember that Prince of Rome Banner the Kop unfurls for him. He is a talent for sure.

@Josh Graham 30 premier league appearances , 43 in total in all comps that season and with 8 goals only Salah, Firminho and Mane scored more than him at Liverpool that season. Shame for the lad because at 29 these should be his peak years but he's not been able stay fit and show how good he really is . If he could stay fit he would he one of the best number 8s in the premier league but every time he puts a run of games together he breaks down. Very likeable lad too so wish him well

Yeah the injury in the summer of 2020 really hurt him. We really could've used a fit Ox when Fabinho/Hendo was at CB, Thiago and Keita were out and Gini was exhausted

When hes fit, anywhere around the edge of the box he is a great striker of the ball , its a shame he cant stay fit consistently,if he could, he would still be at Liverpool

My favourite goal of his is the one vs Arsenal where he is trying to contain himself to not celebrate vs former club but knows he just scored and absolute banger of a goal.

He scored goals when it mattered most. He has quality,only injured killed it to become World star ❤❤❤

Such a shame that he got all those terrible injuries. He was rapid, strong and technical as well as being able to shoot rockets with both feet. Perfect Midfielder for our system :( . Great guy as well. Hopefully he can have a few more years playing regularly at a decent team

Robbo has been an absolute team man. I think he will be among the very bests this club ever had in terms of his loyality and dedication for the club. Also because of Trents unbelievable assist numbers, we tend to forget Robbo's assists count. Robbo is not far behind Trent in assists. He is a top to bottom Liverpool player. Really proud of this man!

People actually forget how integral he was in our title-winning season. Played alot of games, and played well too. Because everyone played well that season he goes under the radar a little bit.

I just wanne see him reach his full potenial man. It's not too late, he's still a bit young. I know he'll do good where he goes next Love him in the fifa games too

I honestly forgot just how good Ox was for us before he had that bad injury. Its really sad that some players after injury never get back to their best again and we have had a couple, Ox, Van Dijk and hopefully Diaz is ok. Since coming back he seems to have lost some pace, I hope its just a confidence thing and he gets back to his old self again.

Ox was absolutely world class when he was in the first team. I'm speaking of his performances that season in the UCL and especially against the likes of Man City. He gave us an engine that we didn't have in midfield and I would argue we have missed it ever since he's been out the team. His injury that season which ruled him out from the final vs Real was a very big blow. He was possibly our best player during that phase on par with Salah. It's a big shame we didn't get to see more of him since that injury and I would've loved to see him get more of an outing by Klopp. Just a shame it didn't happen and frustrating we won't see the player he could've been, making those driving runs in midfield and hitting pile drivers. I'm at least glad we got to see the best of him in midfield. He's definitely world class if not for the injuries.
