10 gold seasons? One of the sporting director got sacked buying him, Brendan Rodgers wanted to swap him. And you think he had 10 good seasons? 😂 😂 He was only able to lift trophies because of since post we bought Mane, Salah, Alisson and VVD.

I would say 11/12 and 22/23 were poor. So he probably signed one year too early, and left one too late. You can argue 15/16 wasn't great but that's largely down to injuries. Majority of his seasons were good. I don't disagree we've had better players, but this idea that you'd last 12 years at Liverpool and be a bad player is obviously ludicrous.

Spot on. I remember the 13/14 season where we just fell short. Many blamed the Gerrard slip but it was the 3 game suspension that Jordan had that was a much bigger factor. We missed his legs and drive noticeably. That's not a dig at all but full credit to what he brought to the team. YNWA!

Massive respect for Hendo and glad he can get some money in his twilight years to make sure his descendants will be secure for life. I was there in august 2011 to watch Hendo score his first ever goal live in the flesh at Anfield v Bolton sat in the Anny Road upper tier the same end where the fresh faced skipper curled a beauty into the top left hand corner with his weaker left peg. Captain fantastic

Henderson's ability to strike a shot, especially volleys, always reminded me of Ronnie Whelan. Whelan score more goals, but both had great ability when presented with a chance.
