Was really gutted with the result. If we want to challenge for the title, we have to be beating underperforming teams like United. These points dropped could be so crucial at the end of the season. Our attack looked so disjointed, I really don’t get where that performance came from when we’ve been on a really good run. But anyway, we move on and get back on top by beating Arsenal on Saturday. 💪🏼

If you ask me, Liverpool have looked pretty disjointed for the last two months. Thay bought good individual players, but they don't function like the old set-up. I mean Diaz, Nunez and Salah are GREAT players individually, but they haven't clicked like Salah, Mane, Firmino. same for the midfield: Dom and Mac are great players, but midfield isn't functioning properly either. It's not critical yet, but if they don't start to gel soon, they could miss their chance to capitalise on City's relative weakness and hand the title to one of the A's. And a quick word about Ten Hag. Even as a Red's fan, I was really pleased for him because I believe he is a good coach and will be successful if only he is given a chance to show what he can do. Liverpool fans and commentators seriously underestimated him by predicting a big defeat.

You are right i agree with you our boss tactically is behind from 2020 till now nearly we have anew squad but the are functioning very well with their Internationals teams but they don't with Liverpool.@@user-jb5se7cv8m

Yes we were on a very good run, and we still are : undefeated in the most competitive league after 17 games is mental. But don't forget that we played way worse against Crystal Palace for example than we did against Man-United. And most importantly, the shame of the draw is not on our side but rather on theirs since they never played to win the game. I've seen classicos in smaller leagues with less played players where one of the two team was 12th and still played with all their passion to win against the leader. That's what those rivalry games mean but Man- United didn't even respect that. Their club doesn't have any backbone.

We can see the editing was not like prev videos. Anyway thanks for the video although not many of us looking forward for Inside Anfield video this week. Everyone was so disappointed with the results and our attack form. many silly mistakes on the first half. silly pass and cannot trapping ball properly. 12 conners and 34 shots, but 2-3 shots from oppo looks more lethal in my opinion. I'd take Heskey over Nunez.

Our attackers aren't in form. In the last 3-4 matches only MoSalah has managed to score a goal. We need to step up and grab the form again or we will slip out of the title race.

We don't have time to mourn because people get injured every year. The attack needs to improve, but the overall game control, including risk management, is not bad. A tough battle will continue against West Ham and Arsenal, but let's prepare well and fight through it.

So pained watching this. Wrong time for us to be having a goal drought with the type of forwards we have 😔😔 we keep pushing YNWA

Blaming Man United tactics for our inability to score even once is pure stupidity. Van Dijk is a great defender but not a great leader for either club or country. Definitely missing Milner's leadership. It's easy to blame the midfield but we have to take into account that majority of them are young (Gravenberch is 21 and Szoboszlai is 23) and will get better with the experience. Our attack is heavily reliant on Salah both as a provider and finisher and when he has a bad day at the office, we struggle big time. Nunez and Diaz are nowhere near Mane and Firmino. I would rather start Gakpo and Jota with Salah when all are fit. If we play like this against Arsenal, can't see us being top of the table at Christmas.

Terrible, in one game you find out our position in the table is flattering and we are really gonna be lucky to finish 4th. Just watch us make no signings in janurary, no replacement for fabinho, our front 4 not scoring. Performances are poor, nothing about our football is exciting.

Is Szoboszlai afraid of the ball? Or does he position himself on the field in a way that makes it difficult for his teammates to pass to him, and if they do pass to him, he just returns it-no dribbling, nothing, just ball possession. Is individual statistics more important, avoiding any risk? Defensively, he is also catastrophic, unable to tackle attackers, with only his ball control and agility being perfect. But then, let him play as a forward, not in midfield. I would put Endo in the starting lineup; he played well.

Disappointing and overall frustrating performance. I think the last result against United set us up for really high expectations and a goalless result was gutting 😔 There were a few moments where I saw the ball flying into the net but what actually happened was either a miss or an easy save for Onana. I though Konate was going to bury his shot but then it just went right into his gloves 😮‍💨

Poor performance and disappointing result - United were there for the taking 😭. We need better decision making, be more clinical and to strengthen our squad in January if we want to compete for the league this season (IMO). Good performance and bad results!! We played well, dominated everything, defend well, played like a team, just wasn’t clinical enough.

Awful performance like that against our biggest historical rivals, when they were there for the taking, and that's what our captain has to say. Bit embarrassing really.

Diaz post injury is finished. and his zero assist for the whole season speaks volumes as a winger. Gakpo has zero assist too. There are great problem's with these two wingers ego's in being too selfish and the eye test proved that they don't pass when opportunity is there a lot. Hence why Nunez rarely gets a simple pass to score. All those Nunez haters, just because he's a good looking vain pot? come on man.

agree about diaz but tell me one full game where gakpo has played as a lw which is his original position..go on. The management fails to realise that's where he is naturally comfortable and wherein he has had success with major output. and worked last season as well. Go check highlights when gakpo is asked to switch to lw (for the last dying minutes of the games somehow) and how he actually dribbles players and gets the ball forward (sheffield) and has scored goals (lask)

I honestly like gakpo cos his sudden little back lift power shots are deadly but because he refuses to pass even if he is not in his favourite position to players with better chance to score is unforgivable. You can't train selfish behaviour. He is suited more in a lower tier team where he is the main dog. But in elite clubs like ours. we need to function as a team.

starting a midfield with two players who seemed to pull up trees at first but now that they have had a taste look over rated will never win points against a turgid pack of desperate mancs, Endo was brilliant, in that he tried his heart out, the other two, just not convinced. insipid is a kindly conclusion methinks. fatigue ? acclimatisation, induction ? where was the creativity ? Diaz (as usual) was the only forward willing to spill his guts for us, kicked from pillar to post cos they knew the threat, yet for me not supported enough by team mates or those present.

Manchester United was very funny, they were clearly afraid of repeating the 7-0

Lads, this is the cold, hard truth. Luis Diaz will never do what Sadio Mane did for us. Mane was a monster, goals assists, creativity, explosivness, every match. Nunez and Gakpo won't do what Bobby did for us. Bobby did the work of 3 players on his own ( dropping deep, linking play, scoring, assisting, etc....), how ironic isn't it that since Mane left, we've never had any consistency whatsoever. With Mane and Firminho, we could easily win 10-15 PL games in a row..... no problems. That is just the cold truth.....apart from an ageing Salah and Jota, i have no confidence in any of our other attacking players. Salah, Jota, or Trent can't constantly bail us out...... it's just not on...... YNWA ❤

That draw against United was totally unacceptable, Luis Diaz is no more than a cheap rip off of Sadio Mane. Nunez and Gakpo are not good enough to lace Bobby Firminho's boots up. We should have sold Diaz when Saudi made an £65mil interest for him in the summer. Things need to change drastically. We've not won a match comfortably 4 or 5 nil all season. Signings in January are a must..... even when City opens the door for us, we find a way to bottle it FFS

Diaz has had a pathetic season. Just do a favor, compare his stats against other EPL wingers and the compare them against Mané, just ludicrous, not good enough. A winger unable to put aerial crosses, LFC deserves better.
