Its Lala I become a Liverpool fan because of them aswell, when Torres won it for Spain in 08 and Gerrard being the stud he is, made me want to choose Liverpool. I almost went with chelsea. Thank God that didn't happen! 9 years and counting. What about you?

Agreed. Never a traitor, just a fantastic servant for LFC. One of the very best to have put the red jersey on. I have him in my all time team as one of my front men alongside Suarez and Salah.

The reason I fell in love with Liverpool as a kid. The first and last footballer I ever fully hero worshiped. Everyone at school knew when we were talking about football the first thing to come out of my mouth was Fernando Torres. When he left I thought it was just a dream, a very very bad dream. I worshiped him so much it pained me to see what he became at chelsea, even though I hated chelsea. He was in decline at Liverpool for the past year or so, but what he became at chelsea was just shocking. Liverpool have been a roller coaster rider with each passing season, but we're on the right track with Klopp and the boys. Maybe another Torres will appear for us, Suarez was better, but for me "another Torres" is someone I can hero worship like a kid again. GOOD LUCK BOY!!! MAKE US PROUD THIS SEASON #YNWA

2008/09 was the first season I started supporting Liverpool, Torres was one of the reason He could be another legend if he stays in Liverpool No matter what, it's all history. Thank u Torres!

Torres retiring hits hard, gerrard was already at Liverpool when I started watching football (2005) whereas I grew up watching Torres. To see him now retire is almost the last inclination of my childhood and I’m sure many other people. Happy retirement El Niño

there was noway, lfc at this time had no money and and elnino knew it's gonna be a long way to build great time and win any thropy. 10 years has gone and Ft had true, lfc still hasn't got thropy yet .

gerrard and torres possibily one of the best partnerships/combos in morden football history. both at the time peaking in thier careers. was such a blessing to watch them live. kindof like rush and kenny.
